چکیده
Abstract Protein fiber production in heterologous organisms, such as bacteria, provides a new possibility for engineering high-performance materials and composites. The discovery design of sustainable that are biological or inspired by principles essential the development next generation circular bioeconomy. Here, we created hybrid synthetic combining bio-engineered proteins with acrylic polymers to enhance sustainability elasticity blend fibers. First, developed an optimized expression (i.e. yield exceeding 1 g l −1 ) purification method (>80% purity) squid ring teeth tandem at facility scale. We showed our protein-based powder, produced via industrial fermentation, can be manufactured into braided yarns using wet-spinning. Our fibers have enhanced when hydrated due hydrogen network between protein

Flexural Behavior of Cementitious Composites Reinforced by Synthetic Fibers
The application of fibers to reinforce cementitious materials is a well-known subject. At first, asbestos fibers are used in industrial process to produce fiber reinforced cement sheets. Thereafter, various types of synthetic fibers are produced and used as asbestos substitutes. The aim of the present work is to evaluate the effect of synthetic fibers on the flexural behavior of cementitious co...
متن کاملImmunological dominance of Trypanosoma cruzi tandem repeat proteins.
Proteins with tandem repeat (TR) domains have been found in various protozoan parasites, often acting as targets of B-cell responses. However, the extent of the repeats within Trypanosoma cruzi, the causative agent of Chagas' disease, has not been examined well. Here, we present a systematic survey of the TR genes found in T. cruzi, in comparison with other organisms. Although the characteristi...
متن کاملUpregulated expression of B-cell antigen family tandem repeat proteins by Leishmania amastigotes.
Proteins with tandem repeat (TR) domains have been found in various protozoan parasites, and they are often targets of B-cell responses. Through systematic analyses of whole proteomes, we recently demonstrated that two trypanosomatid parasites, Leishmania infantum and Trypanosoma cruzi, are rich in antigenic proteins with large TR domains. However, the reason that these proteins are antigenic w...
متن کاملCross Protection against Influenza A Virus by Yeast-Expressed Heterologous Tandem Repeat M2 Extracellular Proteins
The influenza M2 ectodomain (M2e) is well conserved across human influenza A subtypes, but there are few residue changes among avian and swine origin influenza A viruses. We expressed a tandem repeat construct of heterologous M2e sequences (M2e5x) derived from human, swine, and avian origin influenza A viruses using the yeast expression system. Intramuscular immunization of mice with AS04-adjuv...
